Debadging HELP!!

so i took all the badges off my TT, the quattro badge came off perfect and with a little buffing after wards it looked perfect. when i took the rings off there was a distinct ridge around where they had been, you could feel/see it. i buffed and it looked alot better the ridges are gone/you cant feel them anymore, but you can still see a perfect outline of where they were when you look at the right angle. and the TT badge was even worse, the ridge was worse and buffing did nothing to take the feel of the ridge away. where the TT was is dull looking, did it take the clear off somehow?? Can i color sand these ridges and then buff, or do i need to respray my whole tailend to make it look right. you really cant see anything in the pics, but when you look at an angle you can see them perfectly, why is this giving me so much trouble ahhhh!!

Re: Oxidation. You waited a long time to do it. Give it some time, a few car washes
where do i get a clay bar? what is the proccess?? what about the TT badge that seems more than just oxidation, there is a perfect outline and looks like the clear is gone.

I waited 4 years to do mine >>>
I could see the ghosting from 10 feet away, the only thing that took care of it was this
This is a last resort after all else fails.

Ditto roadyTT : If you've got a porter cable, use the Menzerna IP, or Power Gloss...
that should do the trick.
Only use any "wet-sanding" methods as a VERY LAST RESORT, and if you are completely confident in what you are doing. You'll only be back on here wondering where the "burn" marks came from, and why the ghosting has gone and you can now see the undercoat !
If you must wet-sand, either give it to a pro to do, or practice first on a scrap panel.
