DEFCON alert is issued! The Mk1 "Arms Race" begins......
Yes, I did say Mk1., the legendary TT suspension parts that many covet but few have experienced. It is now possible, to EXACTLY emulate the MK1 suspension arm characteristics for a fraction of the cost of sourcing a set of A arms, if you can even find them! As most of you know, the potential sources for these have long since dried up.
Engineered and developed my Mike Phillips (MCPaudiTT), the DEFCON Mk1 adapters provide an easy means of bringing your current Mk 2 arms up to Mk 1 specs and beyond.
A simple adapter and the installation of OEM or poly bushes allow you to tailor your front suspension to how YOU want it, not how Audi decided it should be.
Kits are available at several levels from DEFCON 1 (stiffest) to DEFCON 4. A few hours of labor and some inexpensive machine work will result in substantial improvements. As an original MK1 arm owner myself I can say that your car's feel will be substantially improved.
Modshack is happy to have the initial exclusive on the Defcon line. Orders will be processed immediately and shipped out of California, but quantities are limited to the 2 TT's in Mike's sig.pic below.(don't worry, we'll make more!).
All the detail and information is at the link. Don't hesitate to ask questions of either Mike or I. There are some testers out there now (MarTT & MCPaudiTT) and a few more coming on line later this week and next (stilljester & GorTT) for some SOP impressions...
