Default Not only equal, but better if you go with MK2 rears (Levels 1 and 2).

There is almost "no meat" in the MK1 rear bush (right in these shots)!

Default Question: I have powerflex bushings in right now. How much difference will this mod make for me?

Based on my reading of the options and the difference I felt when I did my bushings, I would estimate that I am somewhere between defcon 3 and 4. Does that make sense? Am I about right in that estimate?

If that is the case, I would consider going to a 2...

Default Cool! My set up is almost the same as his (I have the 22mm front but the rest is the same).

This goes on my list of mods to do. In fact, I'm at 99,350 miles and I'm going to get the car aligned when I hit 100k so now is a good time to order ;-)

Default Exciting, huh?

This is the best mod I've heard of in a long time.

Hey Mark!

Default Timmeh!!

Hi there, nice to see you around these parts again. I've seen your name pop up a couple of times of late. All well?

Yeah, this is one of those mods that is not only long overdue but also great bang for the $...not literally, one hopes!

Default Yep, all is great - a very good year.

We're all settled into our house (even remodeled), Annie and I are great, work is great, family, TT is getting new shiny. Best time of my life, actually - you?

Default I did MarTT's arms. Before modding them, I popped them in for a spin (with the MK2 PowerFlex).

DEFCON 4 is tighter than PowerFlex - I can say that unequivocally (even if I can't spell unequivocally!).

I would say moving to DEFCON 1 from MK2 PowerFlex would be at least as big a step as it was moving to PowerFlex MK2's from stock... You should be able to offload your old PF's to a "Dubber" on eBay and recoup some costs, as well.
