Default Defcon update.

Haven't received the parts yet and expect those in Friday. I've been calling around to see who can do the install of the parts, and not having much luck. So I got to thinking about labor cost, and finally decided to think about getting another set of control arms. Well, I found a set of used ones from a parts store(will disclose after I get them in), and they are off a 2000 TT(but not MK1 arms). They want $200 for the pair. I think that's pretty fair. The labor alone will run close to that if I have a shop take off the arms from my car and do all the bushing removal and install. I like the idea that Mike has for polishing the control arms. I have a warehouse, with all the tools that can do this. I think it will look pretty slick. All I will have to do then is take off the control arms from my car and put the other ones on that I worked on, and an alignment is all I need. In the long run I will save a little bit on labor, gain mechanical experience, and I will have a spare set of control arms with Defcons that I can use for my other TT when that is purchased. Yeah, I will have to pay for an alignment twice, but what the heck. Whadda' ya' think?

That's likely true, just wanted to make sure you knew of the options. Good luck on the install!

Default Hey, It might be worth a call to this shop out on Baseline-------------->>>>

I can't for the life of me remember the name. I am getting TB done there soon. A friend takes his A4 there and is very pleased with the work and the price. TB is costing me $760. and that is the full deal to Audi's specs. anyway here is the #503-629-5999. Let me know if they end up being an option for ya. Good luck with the install where ever you go...
