Default Defi boost gauge mounted in a vent..

This is the Defi D-series boost gauge. I originally had it mounted in a supra pod wrapped with cloth from the privacy shelf. After a while the cloth started coming off and I just did not like the a-pillar mount. I think this looks much cleaner now and it was very easy to do. I still get air through the vent also =)

Default nice job. but you know, the rear laser on the V1 won't work in that position.

you need to move it so that it will be able to see out the rear window (clear view)...otherwise, there's no point, at least getting it from the rear (if you know what i mean).

Default Laser detection is pretty worthless IMO anyway...>>>

I would never count on a detector to save me from Laser. Besides, shots up the **** would be pretty rare! I run mine in that same position and it works great there.

Default The rear laser does more then just detect laser. I've tested both ways and that location on the dash

is definately not as good as mounted on the windshield.

Default Hmmm, Interesting info...

I had it mounted on the windshield before I just didn't like the way that huge mounting bracket looked. I can't say I have noticed any difference in peformance in this location. I still have been able to pick up radar signals miles behind me.
