Default Denver folks: McDonald A.G. is no longer reimbursing for rentals @ service time, doh!

Although apparently if you schedule enough in advance they might be able to hook you up with one of their loaners, blech! That's what Prestige does and I've heard plenty of negative comments (loaners not being readily available).

I'm bummed, was one of the reasons I used McDonald.

Maybe I should go for a Lexus next time?

Default Prestige loaners

Sttacey - I just took my TT in for the 5K service and Prestige set me up with a Grand Am from Enterprise for the day - not a TT, but it was free and the transaction (both pickup and return) was quick and professional. Now, if I could just find a Service Advisor who was a little better versed on the TT.....

Really? Thanks for the info. It seems the 2 dealerships have flip-flopped on policies now.

What does McDonald have to say about Forge Valves? If the loaner was part of the sales pitch, which you relied upon in buying the car, isn't there an implied contract to provide you with a car?

Default Hmm, you're right...

except there was nothing in writing, but I did specifically mention the loaner-car-policy as a deciding factor...maybe I should bitch a little more. Not something I'm good at though, doh!

Haven't asked them about Forge; although I asked one of their mechanics about DV valves malfunctioning and he was all "NONSENSE!! Don't believe everything you read online."...yet a few months later I got a check engine light b/c of a bad DV. Duh!! I got the impression that he thought *all* mods are senseless -- dunno know if the rest of their mechanics have the same opinion (or are as foolishly oblivious to the omniscient Audiworld TT forum .
