It would be easier to just replace the headunit with one that has an ipod input...

oem doesn't work with concert 1, that's what ecs tuning told me

You will still have the factory amp and speakers, just a different headunit

Default This is what I did back in 2005... i used an alpine headunit with XM and the alpine ipod interface.

Default I use the Soundgate adaptor. It gives me 2 auxillary inputs and keeps the CD changer.

I use one for Sirius radio and one for the iPod. It works flawlessly. It comes with a 3-position switch to toggle between CD, aux 1 and aux 2.

Default I just installed an XcarLink adapter

and it works great.

I have the concert II but I just searched '00 and it seems like they have an adapter that will work. Do you have a CD changer?
