Did anyone ever explore the possiblity of installing 225 rear brakes on a lowly 180?

Default Did anyone ever explore the possiblity of installing 225 rear brakes on a lowly 180?

I recall talk of it...but little in the way of substance....any developments?

Default You would need rotors, calipers and brackets, but it will work.

My guess less than $300 for parts. You could even go with zimmerman rotors instead of stock and save even more money.

But you will need the calipers and brackets.

They look the same, but I can check the part numbers. give me a minute

Default ok, here is the info . . .

I don't know if it accurate though. The ETKA cd I was given in Asheville does not seem accurate! lol

It is showing the MAF to be the same for both the 180 and 225, which we both know is incorrect.

But the tandem master cylinder is being shown as the same part number. 1J1 614 019

I have a different version of ETKA that I will check later.
