so HURRY UP and get the Roach on the Dyno Marcus :-)

Default so hes about 10 HP ahead of a a Q A4? the a4 was corrected

and sean's was crank right?
What am I missing? They are both putting out around 300 crank on 100 octane.

Default so your numbers were corrected rwhp?

holy ****

so what is APR doing wrong with the A4? of course this has to come to light right as I'm trying to decide whether to STG III the A4 or not...
dude - get to the track and get some lap times on that thing that you can compare to other cars - being FWD I don't think the real power of your car is going to come out at the strip...

The A4 is quattro. More loss between crank and wheels.

Default well - that would be about a 40% or more driveline loss

which is not happening.

the truth is that the A4 stage III doesnt make as much HP...plain and simple.

I've seen dyno runs that could be contrued as up to 20-25% drive line loss for quattro...but 40+ is pushing it. And honestly who really cares then - that makes it seem like an A4 isn't worth modding at all because the RWHP is what matters - not the crank...

Default The transverse makes about 10-15 hp more merely due to the layout. Add the loss for Quattro AND the

fact that the A4 in the link was running version 4.0 software (glitch in programming that reverts from 100 program to whatever program is in slot 1 .. 91 in that car) @ 5240 rpm. The A4 should pull another 40-50 hp on the fixed software .. version 4.0a.
