Default Difference between these two Ferodo DS2500 pads?

I just searched on parts4vws.com and found these two:

11.3/12.3 Ferodo (DS2500) Fast Road Pad Set (FCP590H)
The ultimate pad for street/mild track use. Reduces fading... $135.00

8.9/9.1/9.4 Rear Ferodo(DS2500)Fast Road Brake Pad Set (FCP541H)
The ultimate pad for street/mild track use. Reduces fading... $90.00 Brakes

This is ultimately for a 2002 Audi TT QUattro. I have no idea what the diference is between the two other than one appears to be bigger? When would I need the bigger one? or smaller one?

Right now my plan is to replace the brake pads (brake pad warning came on), and ultimately decide if I should replace the rotors (not sure yet on which rotors to pair with these pads).

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, I am an auto novice :P

For the first one, does that include all four (front/rear)? and the second one only includes the rear? :P

Default Umm...

Front pads and larger than the rear pads... hence it's more expensive. Change your rotors if they are below the minimal thickness threshold (a brakes specialist cant help you with that, unless you have a rotor-measuring tool).

Thanks that makes sense!

Do you happen to have a recommendation for rotors that will pair with these nicely? I'm assuming I should be looking for cross-drilled rotors since I'm obviously not using my car for track :P
