Is the Ding King dent removal tool any good?

I have a friend that has used the Ding King on his Boxster and he said it works pretty good. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this tool before I use it on my car.

I believe in letting professionals do what they do best.
Just a couple of days ago, an SUV gave me a nasty dent in my upper right rear quarterpanel. I took it to "Just Dings" in San Diego and 100 bucks later, my TT looks perfect.
Could I have done the same job with Ding King? Well, it's pretty doubtful. I could have probably saved money, but these guys do this stuff day in and day out. They can take out dings in their sleep.
So while I admittedly don't know much about the Dent King, my suggestion is to find a good and experienced dent repair facility and stick with them.

do $100 per panel. I wish they could just charge me $25 or whatever to take out one small dent.

Nothing says you can't discuss price with them. My dent was difficult to get to, because of the location and a couple of tight braces.
They're not going to do the job for $25, but you may be able to negotiate a deal nonetheless.

You are all very lucky, I ended up paying around $400 to repair a small dent in the passenger side seat, a couple small of scratches and an abrasion mark on the rear bumper at the audi dealer. I was kind of worried about taking it to a non-dealer place but it looks like that the thing to do.

I've used it to fix some small dents on the hood caused by falling chestnuts, and it worked fine. However, I suspect that it works best with these sorts of round dents, and does less well where there is a crease. Just speculating, however -- I've never tried it with anything else.

use a rod to push from the back side and know how to do it without cracking the paint. Also I would find someone who has experience with aluminum.
