Someone mentioned that scoobi owners had found that K&N filters too close to the MAF could eventually build up oil from the filter on the MAF sensor and caused problems.
Any thoughts on this? Steve?

It is not a problem. Over-oiled it is, and many people do not have the restraint to do it correctly. The only issues I've had with this on TTDA's have been after cleaning by an over exuberant owner. As a matter of course, it is probably a good idea to clean your MAF at every oil change to maximize its life...
Keep in mind, MAF's can suffer an oil contamination problem even with a stock filter because of the way the PVC system works..(or should I say "doesn't" work)
