Do I need to do anyting special for the break in period?

that's it! If you baby it it will drive slower. Car does not need break-in, no break0in oil of any kind. Just go and have fun with the car!

I broke my S4 in easy when I got it and didn't air it out till after 1k miles. I barely used any oil in between changes after that....no cruise control is definetly a good idea....also don't warm it up, just get in and go....IMHO this advice won't cause you any problems but you will have to resist the temptation to let loose for a bit......

Like everyone else says, take it easy. I drove to NYC the weekend after picking mine up and varied the speed throughout the trip, on the highway. I also tried to keep it under 4k rpms for the first 1k miles.
Almost 3 months later with 2500 on mine, I'm very happy.
Where did you get yours, BTW? I got mine from Ira.
