Default do you guys recommend the recall fix for the rear spoiler??

i was told to get it done but it numbs the steering somewhat... i love the sporty feel of the car, will it be compromised much? i sure wouldnt mind a free spoiler tho =)

Default The suspension is dulled...

but I like the look of the spoiler... wish I could get the spoiler with the original control arms

The TT is a beautiful car eitherway. Personally, I like the spoiler.

Default The recall was for suspension and/or spoiler. You don't

have to take them both. You can add just the spoiler and keep your Mk1 control arms. The suspension change is the dumbing down factor moreso than the spoiler addition. Just make sure you specify that to the dealer and stay on top of them to ensure that is all that is done. Some over-zealous service departments installed the Mk2 control arms without asking the owners.

What price a "free spoiler?"

Get the free spoiler if you like it, ( I did) but keep the suspension.

Default Get the spoiler, skip the suspension mods. I think the TT needs a spoiler over 100MPH

but the suspension changes are bad. I regretted having them done on my TT.

Default I have never noticed any lift over 100mph. Not needed IMHO...

You might have to be careful lifting the throttle in high speed turns though.
