Does an aftermarket cat-back exhaust (only) really add extra hp or just sound cool? Evidence?

Already running a 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust with race cats

yes it helps the NA department of the motor...and when the boost rolls up...hold on!
A linear delivery though,
