Default Says $379 right below it plus you need to have it painted.

Default Here's the deal... surprised I am up so early on a Sat? :-)

First off, this is prime time for me even on weekends - unfortunately. Always up too early :-(

As for the ABT Grill, a few points:

1. The ABT symbol could be cut and then sanded off but it will be a rather large project involving lots of 'bondo'.

2. Removing the bumper and then the OEM grill is not an entirely difficult project but it does take time and in my case, I let a body shop do it for me. In the proess, they/you will most likely break a few of the tabs on the OEM grill which will mean you can't go back to an AEM look without purchasing a new grill. In my case, it didn't matter, I am not going back.

3. I love the ABT grill and yes, Jenner is right, it is $379. With painting and install I would guess it will cost you a total of $700.00(?). I had the entire front end of the car painted at the same time as the grill install so I can't tell you a definitive price.

One other thing, the ABT grill is not exactly hardened steel - (in fact it is plastic). It seems a bit weak for a grill but I guess if I hit anything it'll get broken anyway...

Just my $0.02 cents!

Default VenTTed why does it say "Optional ABT badge included!" on the strat website. I don't want that ABT

logo on mine. I guess I will have to call them and ask.

Default The logo itself IS optional, the backing location ie., where you would put the logo...

is built right into the grill itself... pic below says it all. Now, DON'T give me any Sh*t about the dust and crap that lives on this part of my car!

My boars hair brush is out of commission. :-P

BTW, I didn't want the logo either but the labor co$t to fix the backing area was too much for me to do anything about it.

Default Wait a minute . . . you could have left the Abt logo itself off?

but you would still have a piece sof black plastic where the logo would adhere? So what? Take that logo off the car! Hell, worst case scenario, go and purchase another TT rear badge and slap it on there if that flat piece of real estate bothers you!

Come on Glen. Nothing wrong with that flat part of the grille remaining blank.

How much of the front end did you have paintted? Just the nose of the car itself or other parts?

What was the cost of the paint (including grille)? I am going to have to have this done, possibly from the doors forward!

Default Lar, all paint on frnt fenders, nose and grill, including grill install was $1k

That included the cost of the rt side frnt fender too which was about $145.00.

Wait, is all I can say... it quickly got pitted again. Especially since I didn't let it 'cure' long enough and instead drove to TT-West the day I picked it up from the body shop.

And, I MIGHT remove the ABT logo... we'll see. I'll post a pic if I do. I might put a little pic of Speed Racer there intead!

Default If/when I repaint the car I will cover it in plastic within days and leave it parked if need be

I would install it myself most likely.
