My Colgan is a non-license-plate opening, hence it covers about 2/3 of the plate. You think the black vinyl reduces reflection over the Lake Silver nose?

If these aren't covered, then don't bother. If they ARE covered, then you are already 9/10 there.
Car and Driver has an old test that suggested some benefit was gained by running your headlights, especially on high beam. They didn't test Xenon, but the trick was drowning out the LIDAR with infrared from the headlights.

in the past threads about the "which is the best bra". Which it is, of course.
You get to choose whether or not the bra comes with cutouts for the license plate and/or headlight washers.

...vs... silver with a white plate....there is a difference...that may translate into closer distances required to get a clock...that said the unit need'nt point directly at the plate because most new lidar scan 4' about the aim...the colgan bra should be pretty close to red since the vinyl surface is rough. otherwise paint your car with flat diffusion paint that absorbs well at 800-900nm...sheesh...give me the ticket.
