I don't remember how it used to be... If it ever lit up, or did not light up with the old cluster. All I know now is... it lights up only at the start up... Normal? or issues with the cluster installation?

Default Normal... >>

Mine lights up for several seconds when you start the car, then goes off and stays off regardless of whether the belt is connected or not. German approach seems to be, "you've been warned; now you're on your own. Have a nice day."

Default That's one thing I like about the TT. My wife's MINI, on the other hand,

annoyingly chimes at you within a few seconds of driving and continues until you buckle. And if you unbuckle while moving, it will start chiming again until you rebuckle. Annoying as hell.
