Donde esta el PCV valve? I'm thinking I need to replace it, but don't know where it's at.

The PCV is actually under the dipstick area. However... most users refer to a pancake pcv valve which is attached to the crankcase breather hose (Y hose) near the DV valve.
Mine had oil in it, and if you start getting oil in your Intercooler, it sometimes indicates a faulty PCV valve, but some oil is normal. Hope that helps.

$50? At Autohaus AZ they're like 10 bucks or so.
Which did you replace that had oil in it? The pancake one or the one near the dipstick?

I just know the real one is up near the front of the engine, not the back.
However, there is one in the back everyone calls a "pancake" PCV Valve. I posted a picture and Part No. when I was curious about mine.
Its a "pressure regulating valve" according to Audi. The pancake one is the one that had oil in it, and I also had oil in my intercooler. If you start getting an abnormal ammt of oil in the IC i was told to replace the "Pancake PCV". There is a hefty difference in price.
A normal PCV valve should be like 6 bucks for any car and its a fairly small part. The "Pancake PCV" is like the size of your DV Valve, and costs around 50 bucks.
My symptoms - running rough - rough idle. was tossing P1138 i think, which is also a MAF code if I recall correctly. I ended up replacing both.

The TT has both a PCV that is placed under the intake P# 035103245A should run you about Dollars 6. If you are already in there replace the rubber T hose as well P# 06A 103 247 about 8bucks.
There is also a pancake valve called a Pressur Regulator Valve situated on top of the valve cover on the 3way snorkel hose. P#034129101C should run about Dollars 45-50.
ECS has it all scroll down to Breather Hose and Pressure Reg. Valves it's under Engine.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&engine=225HP&mo del=TT%20MKI&submodel=Quattro&category=Eng ine">http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&engine=225HP&mo del=TT
