Don't equate the TT to the Golf
I traded in my Golf for a TT, and I can honestly say the TT is no Golf. The Golf was pretty fun to drive, but it had horrendous torque steer and body roll. The car was nowhere near as solid as the TT. Audi performed miracles with that platform.

I also traded a Golf for the TT a 2000 Mrk IV VR6
to be honest with you I would not like to race a new VR6 in my TT - I think it would leave the TT
for dead - I thought the new VR6 was a wonderful
little car so much so when I'm TT'd out I'll most likely go back and get a VR Golf what sort of Golf did you have ?
