i replaced the passenger-side door latch yesterday, which fixed the problems i was hoping it would, but introduced a new one. to wit, occasionally (5-10% of the time) the door won't open from either the inside or the outside. to get it to open, i have to push on the door handle from the outside, then a subsequent pull of the handle will work fine. i tried adjusting the latch position but so far haven't found the cure. clues?

you might need to tighten down one of the fasteners to get it to stick.. maybe some loc-tite might be needed...

fasteners seem fine, as do the cables.
