Default Doubledin Dash for MK1

<center><img src="http://www.tt-designparts.de/en/detail/68#"></center><p>Hello,

Has anyone made a purchase from this company?

http://www.tt-designparts.de/en/detail/68#

Anyone seen this in person? It really looks nice-very oem/factory look. I would love to have an indash modern nav for my 2002 TT ALMS. Its pricey at 329 euros, so if can point me towards another source that would be much appreciated!!!

Default My idea is to fab one myself.

I want to place the HVAC into the old radio spot and then fab in a screen in the lower portion. In my opinion removing the swivelling TT logo radio cover is a terrible idea. I think it's the crown jewel of the interior.

Good point. I never thought about the impact of losing the silver cover, but I think I will get over it. I would like see your idea of what you think it would like like.

I am thinking that if I can get this done for $1500.00 - doubledin dash, nav system and install..it would be reasonable.

Do you think there would be any issues with the Bose speakers etc when connecting a 3rd party Nav/radio/cd player?

Yes where did you see the complete conversion kit? I can't find my bookmark for that...well its pricey, because its using one of the Audi Nav units which is probably $2000. There are better, easier to use 3rd party units out there.

Group purchase anyone interested in the doubledin?

Here is another place to look at installed photos...this is using an Audi Nav system.

Default not a fan of the finish. the wrapping is done mismatched to the rest of the interior.

if it were more OEM looking i'd consider it, but it's just not the look im going for. cool tho!
