Default Dr. Jeff, do you know how to...

make this to connect to the new Sony Ericsson T610?
My TT comes with this phone holder for the old Ericsson T28, and I noticed that all the Ericsson phones use the same connector. I am thinking about just mod the cable and directly plug my phone into the phone jet in my car without the phone holder. I really dont know which cable is which to the phone. Any idea?

Default without looking at it in person, not a clue. What does that base do?

Default Here is the hole inside the car...

The plug will plug into that hole directly. The EricssonT28 will place on top on that base and get connect to the car phone system. I would like to know which wires for power, mic, speaker etc. Is there any methods to check what those pins on the plug are?

Default Well, again, without knowing how this was all connected, there is no way I can tell you what is what

This is not an OEM install.
What year TT is this?
Do you know who did the original install?

Without knowing what was done, it will be a nightmare to try to figure out what is wired to what.

Default Culmann makes the adapters and control unit and their web site...

(www.cullmann.de) says that a T610 adapter is "in development". It may be worth your while to contact them to find out when they expect to release it.
