Default Driver Side Window Won't Roll Down (2000 TT)

Went to get in my 2000 TT this morning to go to class and the driver side window would not roll down. No motor sound from it or anything. It just stopped working. I pressed up, then down.. down, then up. Not motion at all.

Just yesterday it acted kind of weird and stopped rolling down when it was half way down. I pressed the window up button and it went closed, then I pressed down and it went all the way. When I got to work yesterday it rolled back up just fine and no problems. That was the last time I used it before this morning. I didn't hear anything grinding or anything like that. Just the quick malfunction to which I just thought "huh... strange" at the time.

I've yet to take apart the door to see what's going on inside. Are there instructions online anywhere as to how to get the panel off? What should I look for as a likely culprit? Thoughts/Suggestions/Prayers? I've not done much modding work at all to my TT. I've only had it for about 6 months now.

Thanks in advance for any ideas. This forum always seems to be full of help!

Alright, so I found instructions through my own searching. I probably should have done that first.

Here's what I found, in case others need help:
http://home.btclick.com/kevinst/tt/door/index.htm
http://mk1tt.montebellopark.com/
http://www.wak-tt.com/mods/doorpanel/doorpanel.htm

Still, any thoughts or ideas as to what I should check or common problem areas?

Thanks again...

Default Try disconnecting the battery for >15m and then reconneect.

Keep your radio code handy. You may need just a reset.

Did the motor make any "bump" (crosses fingers)?

Very strange... I checked the window last night when I got home for the evening- still broken. This morning, I tried it one more time and all was well! I didn't want to play with it too much, cause it's looking like rain... It rolled down and back up just fine. I guess I will hold off on taking it apart for now! Thanks all for your advice. I'll post back again if it goes on the fritz.
