My drivers side window stopped doing the auto up/down when the door opens, and the window switch doesn't work - it only 'clicks'.

The passenger side works fine.

I searched and tried the suggestions:
- using the key to open/close the windows
- pulling up/down the window switch reset
- ignition key on/off reset

none of these worked..any help??

Sounds like your motor may have gone. I'd check for voltage at the connector

thx for the advice. does the fact that it still 'clicks' have any significance?

Switch is just the switch.

Under the dash couls be a noisy relay (not real likely)

If it is one click I don't know. If its a series of clicks (thinks baseball card on a kids bike) it's the gear stripped in the motor.

sounds like it's from the door..just one click..

and when the key is 'ON', and door open, it keeps clicking..

I think you need to define the sound better. Gear stripped or switch clicking.
