Default Driving in Snow

I am considering buying a TT coupe, but I live in the midwest and am concerned about how it will handle in the snow. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Default Pop some snow treads on it, and it's a little tank.

Quattro speaking, of course.

snow tires are a MUST -- then you can have fun in the snow!

1) Snow tires 2) Antenna extender for flag so others can see you amid snowbanks 3) Enjoy!

with Quattro and snow tires, it is the best car I've ever driven in the snow hands down.

Most fun you can have on 4 wheels without breaking the speed limit. Snows required.

Default Just drove my TTCQ with snow tires in snow this week...

It was amazing! The car is so well-balanced. We had a mix of snow, slush and ice, and the car did extremely well through all of it. My last car was an A4 with all season tires, and the car before that was a 4-Runner 4x4. There is no comparison. The TT with snow tires (Dunlop WinterSport M2s) was by far better than either of my previous cars. It does lack the ground clearance of an SUV, but I drove through 6+ inches of fresh snow without a problem. Overall, it is a wonderful commuting car... fun to drive, looks great, good mileage, decent amount of space, and now proven to be great in the snow.
