I would have sent it back too.... love the design but $$$$$ for a V6 (turbo or not) when you could get a Top of the Line Ferrari or Lambo for the same price !!

Fine car indeed. I had a friend working for Ford as an engineer at Jag. (Back in 98 I think) They had a family day at the plant and was able to see the XK8's in preproduction. Was even able to be sneaked into the engineering lab! On the premises there was a building housing 36 UNSOLD 220's. WHY? Because no one was wanting a V6. The customers of course wanted the V12 power they were promised. All of these beauties were basically shrink wrapped in a heated storage building. And they all recieved regular storage maintenance.
