the next series of pics shows the front brake sensor wire and connector. At this point, Mintex has a brake pad that fits the front brake assembly of a 225TT but the connector coming from the pad (male) is a different shape than the receiver (female) plug of the TT and that leaves you three choices:
1. don't change pad and leave as is
2. Replace pads with Mintex but do no sensor connection (eg 'disable')
3. Cut off both connectors to bear wires and 'splice' together.

I do not like any of the three and thus my continued search for a better (performance and less dust)brake pad with the proper brake wear sensor connector.

Default Some Mintex clarification.

Everything in Michael's pictures are exactly like my 180.

However, Ivan's comment about "Mintex having round connector" threw me because my Mintex pads have NO sensor connector wires at all.

I know that Audi has 2 different calipers in production because the original set of Mintex Camra Motorsports sent me were the wrong shape and did not fit. (The 2nd set did of course.) However neither set had sensor wires.

So, even if Ivan's do it's all academic because they won't fit any way. So Michael's 3 options are correct.

Now we can put this to "bed", yes?
ChrisTTopher Lloyd
