Default Re: Todd, now that's interesting. what a difference from the 4HP loss previously.

It's hard to say at this time, the 2.5" car was on track to being about the same as the 3" DP, but without putting the 2.5" DP on the other car, I wont know for sure.
This was the last thing I had expected was to have one car with issues this time around. I have talked with Eric, and we just may swap the 2.5" in just to see what will happen, but that wont be right away,.
I have shown what I had hoped for in the first place, that the 3" dP will work with a few more minor mods. It needs to breath in as well as it exhales!

Default Re: Was Erics Car with 3" DP, TTDA and BAMM also using the GIAC Chip?

Yes, Eric's car had the Giac chip, this is so far out performed the other manufacture in all the testing to date. Even though there are some serious lean issues to be worked out.

Default Yes, this is at the wheels

All testing has been done on Mustang Dyno's. The hardest out there to get numbers. other types of dyno's will give out higher numbers, I chose thi make so there would be no questions about "pumping" up numbers, I could have gone to another type and showed bigger numbers, but I chose the hardest to prove what is truly capable.

Default So, If I'm reading correctly>>

The sum of all Eric's mods has netted him 30 whp & 55 ft-lbs gain over a stock 225?

That is...
GiacXchip + custom downpipe + race cat + APR cat-back + TTDA + BAMM + 4barFPR = 30whp.

I think I'll just stay in bed tommorow.

Cool..And upon further reflection, I guess 30 Whp is nothing to sneeze at.
