Default ;-) Thanks. (I'm actually trying to compare prices in this area, and you're a little far from ...

VA for comparison. ;-) I'm wondering if prices are just extraordinarily high in the DC metropolitan area - like the prices of everything else. Thanks for the input, though.)

Default Ellen, they are actually very easy to install . . .

Michael just needs to buy a spring compressor, they cost under $25. You will not need to realign the car so long as everything is marked/scribed. Actually would not take more than a few hours of Michael's time

Default FYI: The fronts have a small welded on piece that's too long for

the shock to seat properly. Emil(SCTT) had to file/cut a small piece of it. He had the same problem on his also. Wonder when they'll fix it.

I got quotes from $310 - $400 including alignment, $240-350 without. So. Cal.

Default This is an 'after the fact' question, unfortunately. I'm getting the feeling I should have ...

shopped around before the install and checked some prices first. The shop insisted that they went by 'the book' on time for the install and that their hourly rates are typical for this area. Oh, they also marked up the shocks themselves and when I remarked that I could have gotten them for less myself, their response was that they wouldn't have installed them as they won't install customer-provided parts.

Default e -- i was out of town today, so i couldn't answer sooner...

for both my bilsteins and stoptechs, the price was $450. i'm not sure what they would have charged for just the bilsteins. this did not include the price for the 4-wheel alignment (another $100).
