Default ECU with chip stalls 225QR more ...

I recently received my spare ecu with chip from apr (www.goapr.com). After I installed the new ecu and followed all the instructions my TT would start and then stall right away. This happened on any program (stock or chipped). I called APR and the guy I spoke with said to disconnect the ecu, wait a minute and then reconnect and follow the re-throttling instructions. He said that many times the first re-throttling didn't take. That did not correct my problem. I checked all connections and then decided to pull the ecu and put the factory one back in. I did notice that the last letter on the ecu number was different between the factory/apr ecu.

factory ecu: 8N0 906 018 AT
apr ecu: 8N0 906 018 K

Unfortunately the guy who handles the chipping was not in today and I'll have to get back with him on Monday. I assume I was sent an incompatible ecu.

CRAPOLA .... I was hoping to have a speedy 225 by now!!!!!!!!!!!
