Default though the effect would be lessened, it would still heat soak...
without any air coming through there. I might see if I can effectively move it into the cabin and post results.

Default this may very well be true but the ecu does dial back in the cold and "up" in
in the heat!

Default yes, you are correct...
I think it has to do with how the air is read coming across the MAF and it is supposed to keep performance constant.
