Default Eibach Springs Still Backordered!!???

I ordered my spring/shock setup end of may from Shox.com and the Eibachs are still on backorder. They said expected delivery is end of August!!! I checked at TTStuff and they don't have them either. So it must be an Eibach production problem.

I'm thinking about switching the springs to the Neuspeed sport springs. I've read mixed reviews on these things. Should I make the switch or are the Eibach's worth waiting 2 more months for?

Default depends..

if you wanna go lower you should go with the Neuspeed springs...if only a one inch drop for you is enough then stick with Eibach...they are good springs. I currently have Eibach/Bilstein setup and still want about an inch more drop. Eibach's are not low enough even if you have 18's IMO. -Krit

Hi gliTTch,

I do want more than an 1 inch drop but I don't want mediocre springs to do it. So do you think the Neuspeed sport springs are good springs then? I've read that they have the "coil-bind" issue in the back, like the H&R springs. Does the coil-bind have any negative impact on handling?

Thanks.

Default i've used neuspeed sport springs before. without looking at them, you wouldn't know they're bound.

not to start a flame war, but the bound coils in the rear was not an issue for me. it feels/handles fine. i think the h&r/bilstein/neuspeed (binding) vs. eibach/kw (non-binding) design are just different approaches. lefties aren't mutants, are they? ;-)

Hi mx-5,

I like your explanation. Sounds like the Neuspeed springs are a good alternative. BTW what springs are you running now? And why did you get rid of the Neuspeeds?

Thanks.
