Default End of TT in 05

Speaking to GM here in SA the other day and he was pretty confident that the TT as we know it would no longer exsist by the 05 model year. Has anybody heard this and what could the follow model could look like.

Default Where is SA? San Antonio? I have heard rumors that redesigned TT for '05 or '06 model year but

I think they are idiots if they change it much.

Default Yeah, that's what the Car Editor said during the 350Z vs. TT comparison...

He said that the TT is scheduled to end production after 2004. I asked if that means the TT will go away completely, or just be redesigned. He said that undoubtedly, Audi will offer a sports car of some sort, but it's not known if it will be called the TT.

If Audi does offer a TT model after 2004, then it will apparently be a substantially revised model.

Default Since Audi runs 6/7 year body styles - 2006 model year makes sense for a re-design

And it doesn't bother me. But they need a 300hp version for the next run.

This may be hard to believe but the universe does not revolve around LA; this guy is actually a really good guy who has been involved with AOA since the early eighties. I've known him for almost six years and his info has always been spot on.
