My engine light came on yesterday morning on my way to work. The night before I filled up with gas and didnt drive but maybe a mile home. The car seems to drive the same as it did before, although I have noticed some lose of boost lately but I think thats because my forge dvr has a torn diaphragm.

So what should I do?

First, check to ensure that your gas cap is on tight - past the first click.

I am not sure if there is a recall on that year or not. I know that on my 2001 the engine light came on and goes off. Its suppose to be recalled along with the ground wires. We will see, but good luck with that.

So I took the cap off and re-tightend it and drove to work about 30 miles. The light didnt go off. Will it go off on its own or will it need to be reset?
