Default Engine problems [continued]

Still having trouble with engine when cold and it's getting worse every day now. My dealer can't find anything wrong but there's no doubt something is wrong somewhere.

When cold, idle rpm is very unstable and engine litteraly shakes the car (much like my old -85 Opel when I had worn plugs and air filter)
There's also a huge lack of power when driving the car, and it hesitates to go beyond 2500rpm.

When varm the cars runs smootly but I'm not sure all the power is there .. it kinda feels wrong.

The cars just been in for 60k(km) service.

No chip or anything, just a cone filter but the problem started before the filter was installed.

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions I can bring forward to my dealer.

Default MAF? Dealer can't find anything with an engine that hesitates to go beyond 2500?

I think I remember that a 'dirty' MAF might not throw a code, but could send bad data to the computer. Ask bracketracer about how to clean it.

Default Try unplugging the MAF and see if that makes a difference.

What has the dealer already tried without success? There are any number of parts that could have failed that would cause this.

MAF, N75, DV, vacuum leak, blown turbo. Do you have a boost gauge installed in the car?

No boost gauge, will have a go at the MAF now and post the result.
