Default ESP light - MAF problem Codes

Ok,i finally got the error codes from the Vag Com.

17963 - charge pressure max limit exceeded
16487 - MAF sensor (G70) signal too high - intermittent

Bad MAF?

As mentioned in previous threads, i have a newly installed Samco intake, 007 DV, and a K & N filter. Obviously, i have alot more air moving through. The K & N was factory oiled, so it should not be overdone.

This may be an unrelated problem, but i have noticed a slight hesitation sometimes at 3-3.5k rpms before the torque really kicks in.

Comments are very much appreciated.

Try cleaning the MAF element with some alcohol then reset the codes.

Think it might just be dirty?

Default Maybe. Since its under warranty, you may just want to bring it in

The MAFs seem to be flakey but they might try to blame it on your K&N. I would switch to the stock filter just to be safe.

The other thing with the MAFs is that completely stock TTs seem to do okay with their flakiness. When you start to mod, you find out if your MAF is good or just okay real fast.

Default I have an appointment setup for Monday-->>

I have been pretty upfront with the dealership and they seem to agree the limited modding i have done so far are all upgrades.

I have made it known to them that i want to chip it, but first i want to get all the bugs out of the way so i can do a fair comparison with the revo vs the GIAC.
