Default Euro Headlights Installed - Halogen to Xenon Conversion

Well I finally got around to doing this. I picked these new headlight up off eBay.de about 7 months ago for cheap because they were halogens. My old xenon headlights worked great but the passenger one was broken and the both drivers and passenger side lenses were scratched pretty good. Basically open the headlight and swap out the parts. I'll post a few highlights here if you'd like to see more just follow the link below. It wasn't hard but it did take several hours. No more side reflector or amber running light.

Default Looks good, and the scratches on your old lenses could have disappeared....>>>

with some time, sand paper and polishing compound.

I had my lenses pretty scratched and pitted with some grime that would not come off as it was embedded onto the lenses and very noticable when lights are turned on at night. I was gonna go buy new headlight housings at more than $600 each but instead I spent about $100 in several sandpaper grits ranging from 400 grit to 6000 grit. I started sanding the lenses with 400 grit and working my way to 6000 grit and finally polished off with polishing compound. Lenses are clear as ever with no more scrathes and pits.

Default I thought about that as well and maybe I'll still give it shot still since you said it works...

but I managed to get those euro headlights for less then $100 so I figured why mess with it. My passenger light mount was also broke. Plus, I've been slowly converting everything to the European setup so this was one of the final parts. (Tail lights, rear fog, headlight switch...etc etc. ) You should write a how to for the sanding of the lenses...

Default first of all "Cruzad3r", you didn't identify who you were speaking to

I wasn't gonna just speak for myself if you could have meant it towards someone else so get it right next time.
