Actually there are several versions of the 02m and they differ only based upon the amount of torque
they can handle. Again - the HPA tranny is uprated with VWMotorsports parts. In fact - HGP - the company that developed the turbo system for HPA works closely with VWMotorsports. Check out the VW link on their pages.<ul><li><a href="http://www.hgp-turbo.de/">HGP Turbosystems</a></li></ul>

While I wouldn't do this - a guy with a Golf 1.8T is putting 390hp to the wheels on his 1.8T - he's
run 12.3 on the car and is gunning for 11's. He has a stock 02j tranny. Again - I think it's a matter of time before it heads south - but he's been racing this thing with over 300 crank hp for about a year.<ul><li><a href="http://www.alamoautosports.com/billy/">Billy's 1.8T mods</a></li></ul>
