Then I revise my estimates, and the stock tranny will last one or two days.

Default Actually there are several versions of the 02m and they differ only based upon the amount of torque

they can handle. Again - the HPA tranny is uprated with VWMotorsports parts. In fact - HGP - the company that developed the turbo system for HPA works closely with VWMotorsports. Check out the VW link on their pages.<ul><li><a href="http://www.hgp-turbo.de/">HGP Turbosystems</a></li></ul>

Default While I wouldn't do this - a guy with a Golf 1.8T is putting 390hp to the wheels on his 1.8T - he's

run 12.3 on the car and is gunning for 11's. He has a stock 02j tranny. Again - I think it's a matter of time before it heads south - but he's been racing this thing with over 300 crank hp for about a year.<ul><li><a href="http://www.alamoautosports.com/billy/">Billy's 1.8T mods</a></li></ul>
