Everyday driving shift points
This surely is a dumb question but I am still new to this turbo thing and with this high rev engine.
Was driving with a Porsche owner who swore that I was shifting way to quick. I understand the shift points for best performance is different but for just average driving 30-60 MPH what is the average RPM range and gear that everyone drives the car in?

for regular everyday driving . . .
1 -> 2 around 3-3,300
2 -> 3 3,500 +/- 100
3 -> 4 3,000-3,500
4 -> 5 before 3,500
If I have to accellerate onto a highway then raise those number 1,000 to 3,000!
I have a 180TTQ chip/exhaust.
You asked about regular everyday driving and that is how I drive. Nice and relaxed, not in a rush. Having fun is a totally different set of shift points!

relaxed - 3500 in lower gears 2500-3000 in higher gears
Having fun, well 6k - redline !!
The chipped 225 has sooooo much torque that in everday regular driving there is no need to exceed 3-3.5k rpms.
If I were to go to 5-6k each time I would keep rear ending the cars in front!!
