Though they did that, I sent Jason T an e-mail regarding the recent deletions and moderations...
I was happy with his response, and I'm glad to see that Jason continues to use a lot of restraint with respect to the deletion and moderation issue.
So I'll trade fewer characters in the user name for allowing a greater number of characters their freedom of expression any day of the week!

I tested it a couple of weeks ago with a few hundred character name, wonder if that's why?
I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anyone on the year end tally so I tested if I could limit names to 255 chars; I couldn't so I changed the structure.
