Well if you think about the warranty being 4years 50,000
Then the dealer is actually saving her money. When the car goes off waranty she will have to pay for all the service. I don't want to think about that price.

Does it say FAD on the actual unit? I'm not so sure...
Imagine that someone did all of this damage to your baby. You probably wouldn't be too happy! I know I wouldn't!

Sounds like Newport... and also sounds like Santa Ana. My first service was at Santa Ana. I never
went back after they attempted to wash my car. It came back full of streaks when I had gone in with aclean car and a fresh coat of wax.
For my next service I went to Newport and the first time was a good experience, the second time I was treated like they did not want me there. The service manager seemed very anoyed. I couldn't figured it out if I had done something at my last visit. I had given them the highest rating on everything when Audi last called. I was given a Geo Metro as a loaner. I guess the Bentley and Porsche guys got all of the decent cars. When I picked up my car I noticed it had suddenly developed the well known problem with the bouncing fuel gauge. Not sure if it was related to what they did during service. I called them back up and the guy was his usual unhappy self. Bad experience so I went to find another dealer 30 miles alway from where I live.

I wouldn't be happy, but I'd take care of it just like she did. The radio
in the coupe, says "FADE OFF" when you try to adjust it ... you can't use fade on the coupe.
Ask her to look through her original papers for the Radio Card that came with her TT that has the radio code on it. That's what she need to reset. All of them are different...not one magic number to punch in.

To be brutally honest, I'm amazed that someone so clueless can afford a $35k car,
and even more amazed that she'd email you about it (presumably out of the blue), yet hasn't gotten around to calling a lawyer. Where do you find these people?
