Default Exhaust leak, really pissing me off.

Ok, so I just got the high flow non-res milltek exhaust, I have an exhaust leak at the center section, already stripped one of the bolts that came with the milltek system, so I got one from the stock system, at first before I adjusted it the leak was loud, now it is soft but I can feel it with my hand when I hold right on before the clamps, I am about to just take it to my friend who does custom exhaust to see if he can fix it, or if any of you know what to do that would be great.

Default Instead of the slip on design...

why not make it a flange design, have flanges welded on and a gasket in between them? good idea?

Default Good Idea, yes....>>

The clamp system is quick and doesn't require any fabrication.

Default I used the Borla band clamps that TTshwing recommend with some Wurth exhaust paste...>>>

Walaaaa!!! No more leaks. You can resolve only with the Wurth exhaust paste in the 3 joints and tighten hard the clamps that came with your Milltek.

try the metal-tape around the joint, then clamp it.
