Default Exhaust questions

Has anyone out there done a comparison between the Borla/Neuspeed and the Forge-Milltek? Does the Forge flow more exhaust? Does it sound better? I have a 180QC and am having trouble deciding. For $1200 plus rear valance and painting, I can get the Forge. For $460, I can get the Borla. I do not see a Quattro exhaust on Neuspeed's web site, but I assume they have one for about the same price as the Borla. I really like the Neuspeed tip.

According to the AWE and Stratmosphere web sites, both exhausts will give me around 12hp.

I am sure the best bang for the buck is the Borla. I do prefer the dual tip look over the single tip on the 180, but I am not sure if the second tip is worth US$800+ to me. (I am in Canada, so that is $1200, ouch!)

Your opinions and facts would be most appreciated.

Default Neuspeed is a Borla with a dimpled tip...You could do what I did if you are or a friend

Buy the borla.Purchase a 225 valance. Get it painted. Then call borla for a new tip (bout $35)
Cut and reweld the tip so the elbow points in the right direction. Then weld to hanger on muffler box.

Default Forge is a 2.75" (90mm) feed pipe to the can. It is bigger than....

the Borla which should be an asset in a turbo motor. Another option that may be the best bang for the buck is to get the custom tip and have a performance muffler shop in your area weld up a 3" pipe from your cat all the way back. I have run my Forge/Milltek with just the center resonated section and the turbo/cat muffles enough. This should cost about $300.

Default When we did the Dyno Day testing all the F/M exhuasts were on 225s and the one Borla...

was on the 180 (with a GIAC chip) so no comparison is available from my end.
