Default Hmmm, they were OK on my TT - I even measured them because they grew in length.
The APR one on my car (pre rearend accid.) also were equal cold and hot.

Default it can be adjusted...I had the same problem and they guy that fabbed
my exhaust took 1.5 hours to cut that piece and reweld it for free.

When he was done it was puuurrrfect!

Default honestly I was never able to get them to stay
after I made that adjustment...band clamps and all...
