Express window - Jason?
Only problem I have is the passenger-side express window. When you press the button to raise the window, it goes all the way up and then 1/2 way down. It's OK if you hold the button, only fails if you momentarily press it. It's also OK from the driver controls.
I've tried holding the button 2 seconds after up and then 2 seconds after down to set the stop points, but this didn't correct the problem.
Any ideas? I'll live with it if it means having the dealer pull the door panel off.

Yeah, it sounds like the door panel is going to have to come off. There may be something binding inside. Are we questioning our dealers ability? The panel isn't too terribly difficult to remove. Let me know what you think.
Jason Dale
Audi Technician
Ken Garff Motors
Provo, UT

Re: Express window - Jason?
I'm sure that the dealer can handle it OK, just never is the same as when it was made once you open it up and put it back together and I'm a real perfectionist.
If it IS binding, wouldn't I expect the same behavior when I use the control from the driver's side? That works OK.
BTW, thanks for the quick reply...
