Exhaust and intake sent to extrude hone for work.
Should have back tomorrow.
New exhaust head studs,nuts and gaskets.

My past experience with extrude hone netted at least 25+ Hp on my old VW GTI motor 1.8
Does anyone have dyno numbers for a KO4 swap on a 180TTQC. I would like to know what I may expect from this effort (260-270Hp)Am I wishing on these numbers???

to replace what you lose. Dont try to catch/re-use the coolant as by the time it lands in your drain bucket it's washed off a lot of grime and road debris that goes with it into the catch-pan. You wont need a full gallon of coolant or a full quart of oil but you will need some of each. Far better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Did you also pick up a turbo-to-downpipe flange gasket to go along with the exh manifold-to-head and turbo-to-manifold gaskets? Or maybe it came in the PES kit. And a new intake manifold gasket.

One other note about Extrude Hone. They told me 3 weeks to do my manifold and took almost eight weeks. But you're in at the right time of year. Mine was early spring at the height of the race prepatory season.

With the addition of the exhaust manifold and extrude honing and version C or D of the K04 chip 260-270 is attainable(at the flywheel). I am estimating I am seeing 250-255 right now.

This might be a stupid question, but you have an exhaust already right? I forgot.
