I am thinking of porting and polishing my 180 manifold, but if the 225 is bigger than i might as well do what u r doing, get a 225 manifold and port and polish that one rather than my existing one.<p>180FWD/17"BBS RX2/S-02PP/PipercrossFilter/PIAA/Wetterauer/Remus/GReddy Turbo gauge/Forge Motorsport dump valve/NGK Iridium/Abt steel brakelines/H&R coilovers/Postert rear spoiler

where they mate to cylinder head is identical tho. So there is a flow increase but its compromised somewhat by the "bottle-neck" restriction where it mates to the gasket/cylinder head. S'why gasket matching is so critical for peak performance.
But this is not a smart conversion with no other mods. If done alone you will have to run an extra 34" or so of ductwork with a 90* bend just to mate the outlet side of intercooler to throttle body intake plenum. This mod should be accompanied by either conversion to a 225 dual IC setup or an aftermarket IC with the IC outlet just below the 225 throttle body.
