Fark and many other expletives. No A3 for Kareem and Mrs. Kareem.....
Got a call from my very apologetic salesman today with bad news. Our car was coming from a Chicago area dealership. The truck got there this morning to pick it up and it turns out that the Chicago dealer thought it would be a good idea to sell it last night even though there was a hold on the car......
So, if anyone is in Chicago with a new red A3, YOU ARE DRIVING MY F@CKING CAR!!
So, he tried to make us a deal on a couple other A3's on the lot, but, Mrs. Kareem doesn't like the white, silver, dark blue, or metallic dark gray. Apparently there's a couple other red ones. One or two in Jersey, and one or two in Washington state. He did indicate that it's more expensive to ship those cars from that far away. So, I told him that if he can't do it for the same price, then, no deal. We may just have to order it and wait 3 months. He'll let me know in 24 hours.

Ask him when he may fly United next time and when he may be flying again. Hmmm,
then geeze he may have to sit in a hot plane on the tarmac and oh my goodness what turbulence we had tonight, and never turn off the seat belt sign.

Bogus! I once bought a Ford Ranger where the salesman took a Sold sign off it before
pulling it around to show me. I had no idea. Took it for a test drive, got a good price, finished all the paperwork and was walking out the door when the other couple that bought it came over with their salesman. Needless to say the conversation at that point wasn't pretty. I ended up with the truck but only because all the paperwork was finished and I had signed and all that. I'm pretty sure the other couple walked out.
