Last I knew . . . one in SB
When I was at the South Bend, Indiana dealership last Thursday, they had one on the floor . . . red/black leather/open sky/wheels at least. I didn't pay much attention to it so the details might not be right for you, but it might be worth the call to see. Their number is 574-254-7130. South Bend is only an hour and a half east of Chicago.
Also, there are a number of '06 CPO cars in red out there with under 10k on the clock. Not new, but better warranty might make that worth considering, too.
I know all that doesn't take away the irritation, but hope it helps.

that sucks, kareem. The red is nice on the A3, but like the other posters suggest, it is advantage WheaTT. I would press it and ask the dealer how he intends to make it up to you since you've already made all the arrangements and need the car. Waiting for 3 months for them to fill an order should be an absolute last resort.
